Designs for a screen printing workshop at an International Women's Day event organised by Movimiento Jaguar Despierto.
With other members of the Wretched of the Earth collective, we delivered a workshop highlighting the struggles of Berta Caceres, Indigenous Lenca leader murdered for her work defending the rights of her people and Mother Earth; and the bid for an Indigenous Zapatista 'candidata' (candidate) to participate in the 2018 Mexican presidential elections.
We invited participants to screen print their own tote bags, to learn and spread the word about these struggles wherever they go.
